Last-minute Updates
The ISC Council has decided that game lengths for the various soccer tournaments at the ISC will be adjusted according to age group. This decision has passed in large part because of the summer heat in Albuquerque, as well as the high elevation. We apologize for the short notice/for any inconvenience these changes might cause.
Here are the updated game lengths:
U-19 Boys and Girls: 40 minute halves, 80 minute games (same as before)
U-16 Boys and Girls: 35 minute halves, 70 minute games
U-14 Boys and Girls: 30 minute halves, 60 minute games
A couple other notes:
1. The Council has also decided to permit goalkeeper punting in the Under-14 and Under-16 age groups, but not in the Under-19 age group.
2. The goal-mouths for the Under-14 and Under-16 age groups will be slightly smaller than regulation: 7 feet tall, 21 feet wide. The Under-19 age group will play on regulation-size goals.
